You can designate your gift for a specific purpose, such as the nutrition program,
musical
programs, music at the Birthday-Anniversary party, food for special events,
snacks for Coffee Hour, Veterans Group, Club 108, Parkinson’s Group, Caregivers Group or
Helping Hands, a fund that provides short-term emergency support to seniors in need.

If you do not designate a specific purpose, your gift will be used where needed most.

“A tiny spark ignites a flame, just as a helping hand can do the same.” – Nonnie Jules.

Please consider a gift or memorial donation to the Helping Hands Fund through the Verona Senior Center. With your donation, you can help Verona seniors with emergency needs that they are unable to provide themselves or obtain through other community resources. Consider a personal donation, a gift in remembrance of a loved one, donation to the fund in lieu of flowers at a memorial service or a will bequest to Helping Hands Fund – Verona Senior Center.

Donor Recognition Box:

You will notice a new Donor Recognition Display Box on the wall just above the drinking fountains. This has been moved into the Center from the Serenity Garden.

Note: There have been 12 plaques added in the past month, since this picture was taken.

We wish to give a huge ‘THANK YOU” to Wendy Trollop for the original building of our Donor Recognition Display Box and the refurbishing of the same, which displays the names of individuals who have contributed to the Friends of Verona Senior Center.

For a memorial or donation of $100 or more, you may request your own plaque honoring your loved one or yourself. Please make your plaque request at the time of your donation. All donation and requests should be directed to Friends of Verona Senior Center.
