Badger Prairie Needs Network



The food pantry is open to anyone in Dane County for curbside pick-up. If you are new to the pantry, please bring an ID for each member of your household and proof of address in Dane County. Those using the food pantry can drive up to the front door where a volunteer will bring food to you and load bags into your car. If you have special dietary restrictions, call ahead. Arrive as early as possible and plan for a potential wait. If you need transportation, please call 608-845-7471.



Although BPNN’s building is closed to patrons, the pantry is still offering assistance.  Those using the food pantry can drive up to the front door where a volunteer will bring food to you and load the food into your car. During this time of crisis the food pantry will be open to anyone in Dane County. Community meals and mending day have been suspended.

Monday: closed
Tuesday: 10 AM – Noon
Wednesday: closed
Thursday: 11 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 10 AM-Noon
Saturday: 10 AM – 12:30 PM
Sunday: closed

To drop off donations for the pantry, come to the back door during pantry hours and ring the bell. A volunteer will come to receive your donation. For safety reasons, the food pantry is currently not accepting food donations.





Food Share



Food Share is a monthly benefit deposited on a debit-like card, the QUEST card, to help with food purchases, freeing up money for bills, medications and other necessities. To inquire about eligibility, call 608-807-9006.



Verona Senior Center


The Senior Center offers home delivered meals to City of Verona and Town of Verona older adults who are homebound and/or unable to prepare healthy meals for themselves. For more information, call 608-845-7471 or visit page 14.




Personal Care Products


The food pantry also offers personal care items such as shampoo, soap, lotion, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, pads, diapers and adult disposable undergarments. These items can be obtained during open pantry hours. Note: not all items will be available at all times.

Holiday Basket Information


Starting in December BPNN will be offering holiday hams and a bonus citrus/fruit basket for those who would like them. These will only be available once during the month.

Thanksgiving Baskets from BPNN

Nov. 9th thru Nov. 23, 2021


The Badger Prairie Food Pantry will be offering Thanksgiving baskets again this year to their registered guests. Thanksgiving baskets will be offered in addition to regular shopping trips. There is no need to preregister for the baskets.

As of today, March 12, 2020 our Saturday Community meals are canceled until further notice,

Need something mended?

Clothing menders from the Sugar Creek United Methodist Church are available on the first Saturday of the month during the Community Meal from 10 AM – 1 PM.

They are available to do simple mending. Drop off your item and enjoy lunch!
