Hi everyone,

 

The UW Health has provided recommendations for cancelling wellness classes through the end of April. Out of an abundance of caution and in consideration of CDC guidelines related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have decided to cancel the March cooking clubs. Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time. …

 

As of now, we are continuing to go forward with registration for the upcoming series, scheduled to start in May (see attached flyer). If you have not yet signed up and would like to, please email me. We still have spots available! Feel free to let friends know about the classes as well.

 

In the event that we need to postpone the start date of the upcoming series, we will let you know.

 

Thanks for your understanding! I’ll certainly miss seeing everyone next week.

Sign up is now open for the Fall Session of the Prairie Kitchen Cooking Classes! These popular classes are a collaboration between UW-Verona Medical Clinic, Fitchburg Hy-Vee, Badger Prairie Needs Network, and the Verona Senior Center.

You’ll be cooking alongside UW Physicians Dr. Brian Arndt and Dr. Maggie Larson and Hy-Vee Dietitian Kara Hoerr.

You’ll try several delicious new recipes and learn tips to adapt recipes for better health. Classes run from 10 – 11:30 AM.

The cost is $35 for the series. Space is limited so don’t delay, call today! Menus available soon. Call Verona Senior Center, 608-845-7471, to register for either the Tuesday or the Friday series.
