What is Case Management?

Having a Case Manager through the Senior Center can be very beneficial if you have a question or need assistance with any of the following :

  • Insurance & drug coverage
  • Help around the house
  • Home delivered meals
  • Caregiving resources or respite
  • Rides to get places

Have a question or need that is not on this list? Just ask!

I’ve been at the Senior Center for a month now and feel very welcome here. Thank you for your patience as I learn names and the routine. If we haven’t met I hope that we do soon.

Case Management Library

Did you know that case management has it’s own library with books on topics relating to health & wellbeing, like caregiving, coping with loss , dementia etc.. If you’d like to see a list of books for checkout, let Julie or I know. You can also find the list on the Verona Senior Center Case Management & Outreach Facebook page. We have limited resources to acquire books, so please return when done. We also accept donated books!

Things that make you go hmmmm…..
– When does it stop being partly cloudy and start being partly sunny
– Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
– In the song Yankee Doodle, is he calling the horse or the feather “macaroni”?

I bet you just sang that…
