It’s March. Ready to Spring Ahead!

Those receiving FoodShare benefits know that due to the recent government shutdown, February’s FoodShare benefits were disbursed on 1/20. The Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services announced that all members will see their March FoodShare benefit on their QUEST card on March 1. The adjustment is to minimize the length of time between the February and March issue date.

Verona’s food pantry is located within the Badger Prairie Needs Network and is a fantastic resource. Everyone is welcome, regardless of income. Like last year, we will be touring the food pantry, only this time we are able to see renovations recently completed at the pantry and Badger Prairie Needs Network. Tour date to be announced soon. If you need a ride to the food pantry, give the Senior Center a call to schedule a ride on the van.
