Ready Set Vote in the Spring Election on April 4th!

*Check your registration status at www.myvote.wi.gov. If you need to update your address, you can do so online or with the City Clerk’s office. You can find a Sample Ballot to review prior to voting on this website.

 

*Make sure you have an approved photo ID to use for voting or requesting an absentee ballot. You can use a Wisconsin driver’s license,  Wisconsin state ID card, US passport or military ID with expiration dates of November 8, 2022 or later. Contact the clerk’s office or go to BringIt.wi.gov for further information.

 

*If you are planning to vote absentee, request your ballot no later than March 24th. All requests must be written and include your name, address, election you are requesting a ballot for and a copy of your photo ID. You can request your ballot:

 

• Online: www.myvote.wi.gov
• Email: Send your request to elections@ci.verona.wi.us.
• Mail: Mail your absentee request form or written letter to 111 Lincoln St.
• Call: Call the City Clerk’s Office at 608-845-6495 and get an absentee request form.

 

*Research candidates and other issues on the ballot by reviewing the Dane County League of Women Voters Candidates Answers 7 as well as stories in local news outlets.

 

*Request a ride from the Verona Senior Center for election day or to return your completed absentee ballot to city hall before the election.

 

*Special Voting Deputies will be at Noel Manor, Four Winds and Cedarhurst. Watch for posted announcements at the facility where you live.
