This Dane County program offers low-income older citizens an opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs from certified farmers. Senior FMNP checks can be used from June 1 through October 31, with a participating farmer at any participating farmers market or roadside stand in Wisconsin. Registered farmers may not be present at every market location. In addition to offering nutritious foods, Senior FMNP supports local economies by increasing the use of farmers markets.
If your household monthly income is below $2,096 (one person) or $2,823 (two people) you may be eligible.
