Verona Senior Center offers home-delivered meals to City of Verona and Town of Verona older adults who are homebound and/or unable to prepare healthy meals for themselves. Call for more information 608-845-7471.

 

Please call 845-7471 by 12 NOON the day before to schedule van rides!
Call by noon on Friday to schedule Monday rides.

Tuesday/Thursday $6.50 meal at Verona Senior Center – Drive up meal service is available on Tuesdays/Thursdays between 4-4:30 pm. Meals are catered by TNT Catering of Middleton and must be preordered. If you would like to purchase a meal please, email nutrition@ci.verona.wi.us or call 608-848-0438 by noon on the Wednesday prior. Please leave a message indicating your meal choice and how many meals you would like. Please clearly state your name and phone number. More details on page 20.

 

Tuesday/Thursday pick up Please drive to the back parking lot between 4-4:30 pm, drive under the overhang and stay in your vehicle. Someone will bring out your meal. Please pay with $5 cash or check only.  Food and Supply Resources: Here are some resources in Verona to get food and supplies. We are here to help if you cannot get what you need on your own.

 

 

Food and Supply Resources:

 

Miller’s Grocery Store – 608-845-6478. Store is open. Online orders (for curbside pick up) are backed up 2-3 weeks.  Deliveries for regular delivery customers only.

 

Festival Foods – 833-924-1101. Store is open and people can call in small essential orders only for curb pick up.  Regular online shopping available.

 

Badger Prairie Needs Network – Drive thru pick up only during regular business hours (below). Bring ID. No cost. Each individual/family is eligible to use this resource twice a month through September. Arrive at least 15 minutes before they close and expect there to be a wait. No community meals. Updates are made by calling 211. Please see page 23 for more details.

Monday – 10 am – Noon, Tuesday – 10 am – Noon, Wednesday – closed, Thursday – 11 am – 6:30 pm, Friday 10 am – Noon, Saturday – 10 am – 12:30 pm, Sunday – closed

Transit Updates: Transit is offering rides within the City of Verona for essential travel only. This would include a ride to the grocery store for local & essential medical appointments.
