Emergency Order #10

To comply with new Dane County orders, the Verona Senior Center has made changes to our in-house offerings. The only in-house offerings will be foot care, diabetic foot care, massage, reflexology, and use of the exercise room. All programs require registration. To read more about the order visit: https://publichealthmdc.com/documents/2020-11-17_Order_10.pdf

New Screening Forms and Waivers

If you’ve visited the Senior Center in the last couple weeks you’ve probably noticed some changes. We have now added a health screening tool and a liability waiver for all members who participate in in-house programs. If you plan on attending any in-house activity, please arrive a few minutes early to fill out these forms. Thanks in advance for your help.

Looking for Suggestions

Our plans for 2021 are well underway and we’re looking for member program suggestions. Do you have a talent you’d like to share? Or do you have a great idea for a program? We’d love to hear from you! Contact Alasa at 608-848-0431.

Book and Puzzle Cart

With winter weather on it’s way we will no longer be putting the book and puzzle cart out on Tuesdays. We thank everyone who donated items over the last few months. This opportunity will resume again in spring.

I hope you have found time for joy this holiday season. Perhaps you connected with an old friend, tried a new hobby, or found a way to support a local business. For me, it’s been finding new ways to create family fun. This year has certainly been a wild one!

Please remember our team is here to help and we look forward to seeing you in 2021. Wishing you a safe, happy, healthy holiday season.
