Bus Trips

With summer here and vacations in full speed, we continue our search for volunteers. We have many opportunities ranging from one to four hours/shift. For more information about our immediate volunteer needs, please call Alasa at 608-848- 0431.
– We are looking for volunteers to deliver meals and take seniors to medical appointments outside of Verona. This is a flexible position and drivers are offered mileage reimbursement and additional liability insurance.
– We are looking for volunteers to help in the kitchen. Duties include washing dishes, wiping out lunch bags, wiping down surfaces, cleaning up the coffee station and warming up our heat packs for the Home Delivered meals. Morning and afternoon shifts available.
– Do you like helping with fundraising activities or clerical work? Friends of Verona Senior Center are looking for new board members. Duties include attending a once-a-month board meeting, helping with fundraisers, promoting or delivering program notices to businesses. If you are interested in learning more about the Board, please contact them at vscbod@gmail.com.
– We are looking for volunteers that enjoy meeting new people. Duties include registering people for programs, answering phones 
and greeting people. Having some basic computer skills is helpful. Morning and afternoon shifts available.
