I can’t believe November is here! We’ve got some wonderful programs coming up this month. After a two-year hiatus, we’re excited to celebrate our veterans at our Veterans Day Event on November 11.

Here are the details:

Veterans Day Events
Friday, November 11: 11 AM – 2 PM
11 AM – Flag Ceremony
11:30 AM Lunch & Presentation
12:30 PM Quilts of Valor

Join us to celebrate, remember and thank all veterans. The day begins with a flag ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park at Hometown Junction. Following the ceremony, we will serve lunch at VSC.

Lunch is free for vets and their spouses. After lunch, we will have a presentation for Quilts of Valor.  RSVP required by November 2.

Chili Supper & Tree Lighting
Friday, December 2: 4:30 – 7 PM (L)

Are you a fan of chili in the winter? Join us for our fun annual chili supper! For the full schedule please visit page 27. Food will be served to-go.

Holiday Decorating Party
Thursday, December 1
9-12 PM

Join us to help get the holiday season started! We’ll decorate the center while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies. All welcome!

Low-Vision Machine
Have you tried our new low-vision reader? Thanks to Attic Angel Community we now have a low-vision reader available to anyone who’d like to use it. It’s located in the main room and can be used any time we are open.

Meal Cost Increase
Starting in January 2023, the cost of the Grab & Go meals will increase to $7/meal. As a reminder, meals are provided by TNT Catering and can be eaten in-house or picked up via drive thru. For all the details about meals please visit pages 22 and 23 in the Chronicle.
