Updates From the Director – October

Updates From the Director – October

If you’ve been to the Senior Center lately you’ve probably noticed our patio has been closed. This was due to the overabundance of animals who decided to make our property their home. We recently issued eviction notices to a family of raccoons, a ground hog, and an opossum.

Thanks to the creativity on our Public Works staff we are happy to report all animals are now living elsewhere and our beautiful patio is once again open to all (humans that is).

Bus News:
Starting in October the Wednesday bus will be prioritized for rides to Miller’s Grocery store. Other rides will be allowed if time allows.

Recycling Reminder:
Don’t forget to drop off your used pens, highlighters, and other writing instruments for recycling. Items can be dropped off at the VSC front desk during open hours. We are also excited to hear that the library is recycling disposable masks! Stop by to recycle your used masks during library open hours.
